Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality care to elderly individuals in their own homes or residential facilities. The Caregiver will be expected to assist with daily activities such as preparing meals, providing companionship, administering medication and providing transportation services. The salary for this role is 1800 AED per month and we are willing to consider foreign applicants with minimal work experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to the client's dietary needs
- Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by the client's physician
- Provide companionship and conversation to relieve loneliness and boredom
- Transport clients to doctors' appointments, shopping trips or social outings
- Keep accurate records of clients' health and progress
- Report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the supervisor
- Provide emotional support to clients during difficult times
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up living areas

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred
- Proven experience as a Caregiver or similar role is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families - Good organizational skills to ensure productivity of daily tasks - Self motivated individual with a compassionate attitude - Valid driver's license is an asset
