Office assistant vacancy in Sharjah UAE for unskilled worker
We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah!
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, ensuring all office operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000 AED.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an office setting and be able to adapt quickly to the demands of the role. They should be highly organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also essential.
Key responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and provide general administrative support
• Answer incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries or referring them to the appropriate personnel
• Manage calendar appointments and travel arrangements
• Prepare letters, reports, presentations, forms, and other documents as needed
• Handle incoming mail, filing documents as necessary
• Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering new supplies as needed
• Maintain office equipment and arrange for repairs when necessary
• Ensure the office is tidy at all times by organizing files, disposing of waste, etc.
• Assist with various projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar role
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
