Job Summary
We are looking for a well-organized and motivated Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The position is open to both nationals and foreigners alike. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, organizing resources, and providing information services to patrons.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage library collections by cataloguing new items, removing outdated materials, and maintaining digital records of library stock.
• Supervise library staff to ensure that patrons receive quality customer service.
• Develop strategies to maximize space utilization within the library.
• Identify gaps in resources and purchase new titles as needed.
• Compile reports on circulation statistics and other relevant data points.
• Train staff on best practices in customer service.
• Respond to patron queries promptly and professionally.
• Organize educational programs for patrons such as lectures or book clubs.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of current library technologies including cataloguing systems and databases.
• Ability to stay up-to-date with current trends in library science.
Experience
• Previous experience as a librarian or a related role is preferred but not required
