We are looking for a Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700 AED per month. We are open to considering applications from foreign candidates with the right qualifications and experience.
The Cashier will be responsible for processing all payment transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful applicant will be comfortable working at the point of sale, handling cash, credit cards, checks, and other forms of payment.
Responsibilities include: monitoring daily transactions; providing exceptional customer service; maintaining the cleanliness of the store; stocking shelves; resolving customer queries; completing sales reports and paperwork; following store security procedures; operating cash registers or other payment processing equipment; supporting colleagues in other areas of the store as needed.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 2 years of experience as a Cashier or similar role. They must possess excellent customer service skills and have an eye for detail. Applicants should also be able to work independently and manage their time efficiently in order to meet deadlines. Computer literacy is essential for this role, as well as a good understanding of basic mathematics. Knowledge of POS systems would be advantageous but not necessary.
