Librarian Vacancy in Abu Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The salary for this position is 1500 AED and we are willing to consider a foreigner for the role.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in library science, information management or a related field
• At least three years of experience working with libraries
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in using library systems, databases and other research tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Organize library resources and materials, such as books, e-books, databases, magazines, audio-visual materials etc.
• Assist patrons in finding resources they need
• Maintain an up-to-date catalogue of all the library resources
• Prepare library resources, such as cataloguing books, classifying materials etc.
• Keep records of circulation activities such as loans, returns etc.
• Answer queries from patrons regarding library services
