Merchandiser job in Sharjah UAE for foreigners
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. This position will involve working with customers to promote and provide information on our products and services. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate with customers, understand their needs, and have the ability to develop relationships with them. The ideal candidate should also have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable dealing with change. In addition, the successful candidate must have a strong understanding of current trends in the local market in order to ensure that our products remain competitive.
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role are to ensure that our products appeal to customers and that they are aware of all product features. This includes setting up displays in store, developing promotional activities and attending shows or events related to product sales. The Merchandiser must also track customer feedback on products, create reports for management, ensure that product inventory is well-stocked at all times, and provide regular updates on sales figures for management review. Additionally, they will be responsible for monitoring competitor activity and providing strategies for improvement based on their findings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication abilities both verbally and written; have a basic understanding of merchandising principles; demonstrate knowledge of customer service practices; possess excellent organizational skills; demonstrate experience or education in marketing, retail or business management; have excellent problem-solving skills; show attention to detail; display an understanding of current trends; possess basic computer skills; have an ability to work independently as well as part of a team; demonstrate flexibility in adapting quickly to changing market conditions; have an ability to build relationships with customers; bilingualism is an advantage but not essential.
