Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Library Science or Information Science, as well as at least three years of professional experience in a library setting. Additionally, experience managing a library collection or supervising staff would be beneficial. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in using library software systems and Microsoft Office applications. Candidates should also possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not required.

Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library collection, developing new materials, supervising staff, and providing reference services to patrons. This includes cataloguing materials, maintaining circulation records, organizing the stacks and shelves, developing new programs for patrons, training staff members on proper library procedures, and responding to inquiries from patrons regarding library materials or services. The Librarian will also be responsible for budgeting and staying up-to-date with current technology trends in the field of information science.
