Job Summary:

We are looking for a Barista to join our team in Sharjah. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the perfect coffee experience for our customers. You will be expected to take orders in a friendly and efficient manner and ensure that drinks are served promptly and accurately. You should have excellent customer service skills and be willing to learn about the various coffees and teas that we offer. We are offering a competitive salary of 1500 AED per month, with the possibility of immigration consideration.

Responsibilities:

As a Barista, your main responsibilities will include preparing hot drinks such as espresso-based coffees and specialty teas according to the customers’ preferences; providing excellent customer service; handling payment transactions; maintaining cleanliness of equipment and workstation; restocking supplies as needed; keeping records of products sold; and following all safety protocols. You should also be able to provide advice on menu items when asked by customers, as well as accurately answer any questions they may have regarding the products or services offered by our company.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a Barista in a similar environment or hold certification from an accredited training program in coffee preparation/service skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required as well as strong knowledge of different types of coffees/teas, including their flavors/aromas/notes/strengths etc., excellent customer service skills, good communication skills both verbal and written, strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, ability to stand for extended periods of time as well as lift heavy objects when necessary.
