Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing the library collection and ensuring that the library operates smoothly. Duties include cataloguing books, managing the library budget, coordinating staff and patrons, developing library programs, and promoting library services.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a library setting. The individual should have excellent organizational skills as well as strong customer service skills and an appreciation for literature and culture. They should also be computer literate and able to implement new technologies into the library’s system when necessary.

The successful candidate will be expected to ensure that all library patrons are served with respect and courtesy, while also enforcing all rules of the library. In addition, they should be able to develop new programs that engage patrons of all ages in activities centered around reading, writing, art, music, history, science, etc. The librarian must also remain up-to-date on current trends in libraries around the world so that they can provide insight on how best to manage and update our local facility.
