Housekeeping Manager - Abu Dhabi
We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all housekeeping operations, including staffing, inventory management, and cleaning services.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to housekeeping standards and protocols.
• Create schedules for staff members and ensure that they are properly adhered to.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and other materials needed by the department.
• Ensure that all areas of the premises are cleaned in a timely manner and according to set standards.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, customer service skills, etc.
• Liaise with vendors regarding service contracts, orders, etc.
• Monitor quality assurance standards of all housekeeping personnel and take corrective action when necessary.
• Provide feedback to staff on their performance in order to improve service delivery.
• Generate reports related to daily activities and budgeting needs of the department.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lead a team successfully while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Good communication skills both verbally and written as well as strong interpersonal skills when dealing with customers or staff members.
Salary: 1300 AED/month + benefits (for foreigners).
