Job Summary
We are looking for a Cashier to join our establishment in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have good customer service and communication skills, be able to handle cash transactions and have the ability to work well under pressure. The successful applicant will receive a salary of 1700 AED per month.
Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Cashier is to accurately process all cash and credit payments. This includes counting money, segregating coins, and balancing the drawer at the end of each shift. Other duties include greeting customers with a friendly smile, providing assistance with product selection, answering customer questions regarding pricing or product availability, and keeping up-to-date with current promotions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in cash handling will be considered an asset. Computer literacy is also desired as much of the process is automated. Fluency in English is essential for this role; knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage but is not essential. We are open to considering applicants from abroad who are eligible for work permits in Sharjah.
