Position Title: Merchandiser
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1700 QAR/month

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This position is open to both locals and foreigners.

The Merchandiser is responsible for managing product flow through the supply chain, from supplier to customer. This includes purchasing, stocking, allocating and monitoring goods in order to ensure that customers are supplied with the right products at the right time. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of how merchandise works within a retail or wholesale environment and be able to develop strategies that maximize sales opportunities and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with suppliers to purchase stock at optimal price levels
• Negotiate terms of contract (e.g. delivery deadlines) with suppliers
• Monitor stock levels and determine re-order quantities when necessary
• Allocate stock across stores/warehouses according to consumer demand
• Monitor sales performance of products and adjust inventory accordingly
• Analyze customer feedback data in order to optimize product range
• Make recommendations on promotional activities aimed at increasing sales
• Oversee return of damaged or incorrect stock items

Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a merchandiser or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data effectively (e.g. consumer demand)
• Good understanding of retail industry trends
