We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing product selection, pricing, marketing strategies and promotions to ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, buyers and other stakeholders. They should have a track record of developing successful merchandising strategies across a variety of product lines. A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to problem solving is essential.

Responsibilities include:
• Developing merchandising plans and strategies that maximize sales potential of products
• Negotiating prices, terms of sales and order quantities with suppliers
• Organizing promotional events and activities to increase visibility of products
• Analyzing sales data to identify trends in product demand
• Creating displays within the store that attract customer attention
• Working closely with buyers on product selection, pricing, promotion decisions and inventory management
• Creating reports on performance metrics such as sales volume, profit margins & stock levels
• Keeping abreast of market trends in order to identify opportunities for growth or decline.

Qualifications:
• University Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Relevant experience in Merchandising or Retail Management
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
