Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial records of the company, including preparing financial reports, managing internal controls, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, be excellent in problem solving and communication skills and have a thorough knowledge of international accounting principles.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 2+ years experience as an accountant
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Knowledgeable of international accounting standards
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel)
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy of all data entries into the company’s accounting system
• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies or potential improvements in processes or procedures
• Develop internal controls to ensure accuracy of all financial documents and transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of all data entries into the company’s accounting system
• Prepare monthly journal entries for accruals, depreciation, amortization, etc.
