Merchandiser Position in Abu-Dhabi
We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Merchandiser to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our business operations.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of sales, marketing, retail, and customer service principles. You should also be organized, proactive, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with customers and suppliers to identify opportunities for increased sales.
• Assist in the development of promotional campaigns to increase sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as necessary.
• Analyze customer trends to maximize sales potential.
• Negotiate prices with vendors to ensure competitive prices for products.
• Ensure shelves are stocked properly with merchandise according to plans and promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times by responding promptly to inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to merchandise purchases and sales.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a merchandiser or in another similar role is preferred but not required; recent graduates will also be considered for the position if the applicant has relevant qualifications or extensive knowledge in retail operations or customer service principles.
• Demonstrable knowledge of retail marketing principles, merchandising techniques, product selection strategies, inventory management, etc.; experience working with POS systems is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong organizational skills
Salary: 1000 AED per month (negotiable depending on experience). We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position.
