We are looking for a Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The role will involve working with customers to accept payments for goods and services in our store. Duties & Responsibilities
The Cashier’s primary responsibility is to accurately process payments from customers at the point of sale. You must ensure that all sales transactions are completed quickly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Other duties include:
- Greeting customers upon arrival
- Providing accurate information about products or services on offer
- Processing cash, credit card, or check payments accurately
- Balancing daily sales reports
- Counting cash drawers on a regular basis
Qualifications & Skills
The successful candidate should possess basic math skills along with excellent communication abilities. They should also have good organizational and multitasking abilities as well as being computer literate. Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. We also require the following:
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
