As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial documents and records while meeting deadlines. You will also need to produce monthly financial statements and reports, manage accounts payable/receivable transactions, prepare invoices, reconcile bank statements, monitor expenditures against budget, ensure timely payments of bills and taxes and assist in audits as required. Additionally, you may be asked to perform administrative tasks such as filing documents or updating records as needed.

To qualify for this role you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance plus relevant work experience is preferred but not essential. You should also have strong knowledge of accounting principles and processes including bookkeeping procedures as well as excellent numerical skills. An understanding of computerized accounting systems is essential coupled with excellent written skills for communication purposes. Candidates must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads accordingly in order to meet deadlines accurately each time.
