Merchandiser
We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser for our store in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the field, and have the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and customer service skills to help promote our products and services. This is a full-time position, offering a salary of 1400 AED per month. We are willing to consider immigrants for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Evaluate customer needs, preferences, and buying habits
• Analyze sales trends to determine optimal product mix
• Monitor stock levels and order new inventory as needed
• Negotiate terms with suppliers to ensure best prices and availability
• Create promotional plans to increase interest in products or services
• Oversee visual displays and design layout of store shelves
• Plan advertising campaigns or special events to increase sales
• Train staff on store policies and procedures regarding merchandise
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a merchandiser or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and customer service practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; knowledge of POS systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
