Librarian – Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an organized and experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a great passion for books, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Description:
The Librarian will be responsible for managing the library’s collection of books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, digital resources, and other materials. The Librarian will also provide reference and research services to library users, assist patrons with locating materials, answer inquiries, and maintain records. Additionally, the Librarian will develop library programs and activities for patrons of all ages.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• At least 2 years of experience working in a library environment
• Knowledge of library policies and procedures
• Proficiency with computers and software applications including MS Office Suite
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) in English language

Salary: 1100 AED
