We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 1 year of experience to join a fast-paced and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library’s collections, providing reference and research services to patrons, and supervising library operations.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Librarian
• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of library procedures, operations, and best practices
• Ability to use computerized library systems effectively

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of library operations as well as providing reference and research services to patrons. This includes cataloguing and indexing books and other materials, maintaining library records, managing staff, developing policies and procedures, preparing budgets, providing reader advisory services, conducting orientation sessions on library resources, coordinating special programs like book clubs or storytime readings, and promoting the library’s services in the community. Additional duties may also include developing collections that meet the needs of the local community or patron population.

Salary: 1300 AED/month
