Job Summary
We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and organized, with excellent computer skills. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The main duties of this role will be to provide administrative support to the staff, manage all incoming communication, coordinate meetings and events, maintain office supplies, and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of office practices and procedures. A high school diploma is necessary, although post-secondary education or previous experience in an office setting would be beneficial. The successful applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential. A professional attitude and the ability to work under pressure are important qualities we look for in our Office Assistants.
Responsibilities
The Office Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for incoming visitors and phone calls. Duties include greeting visitors, handling incoming correspondence (email, mail), scheduling appointments, managing databases and filing systems, ordering office supplies when needed, coordinating travel arrangements for staff members when required, preparing reports as needed, and providing general administrative support to the staff.
Compensation & Benefits
