Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. A Sommelier is responsible for providing our guests with an outstanding experience in our restaurant. You will be expected to have knowledge of a wide variety of wines and their pairings, along with an understanding of culinary trends and flavors. With an attentive ear and eye for detail, you will ensure that each guest is provided with the best possible experience while dining at our establishment. This position includes a salary of 900 per month, and we are open to considering immigrants for this role.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to provide a knowledgeable point of contact for our guests when selecting wines that pair well with their meals. Your duties include providing information on wine tastings (including decanting services) as well as interacting with servers and guests on menu items, food/wine pairings, service standards, etc. You must possess a comprehensive knowledge of all applicable laws related to alcoholic beverages within Dubai, including license requirements. Additional responsibilities include:
-Developing relationships with suppliers
-Managing inventory levels
-Recommending menu items based on seasonal ingredients
-Assisting with staff training on product knowledge
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant setting. An advanced degree or certification from an accredited sommelier program is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential for this role as you will be interacting regularly with staff members as well as guests from various cultures. Additionally, you should possess strong organizational skills that enable you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under pressure. Knowledge of food safety protocols, wine regulations in Dubai, along with familiarity with POS systems is also preferred but not required for this position
