Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified pharmacist to work in our Sharjah office. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, a good understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to multitask. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300 AED per month. We are willing to consider foreign applicants for this position.
Requirements for Candidate:
β’ Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy or related field
β’ Valid Pharmacy license/certification
β’ At least 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
β’ Excellent customer service skills
β’ Good understanding of medical terminology
β’ Ability to multitask and remain organized
β’ Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Dispense medications according to prescriptions from physicians and other health practitioners
β’ Provide counsel on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage
β’ Accurately record prescriptions; maintain patient profiles, enter orders, process payments
β’ Follow up with doctors' offices on any prescription clarifications or questions
β’ Monitor patient medication therapies by reviewing their profiles for drug interactions, allergies, duplicate therapies etc.
β’ Keep abreast of current pharmacy laws as regulated by the government
β’ Answer patient questions about drugs and health topics they may have
