Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Secretary to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask, possess strong communication abilities, and an eye for detail. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300 AED per month. We are willing to consider immigrants for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet visitors in a professional manner and direct them to the appropriate office or personnel
• Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, respond to inquiries, and transfer calls as necessary
• Assist with filing documents, organizing records, and maintaining office supplies
• Prepare documents such as memos, letters, reports, spreadsheets etc. as required by supervisor
• Create agendas for meetings; coordinate meeting arrangements; take minutes during meetings
• Maintain office calendar; schedule appointments; remind staff of upcoming events
• Handle all incoming mail; sort mail; process outgoing mail on a daily basis
• Oversee administrative tasks such as data entry into computer systems; ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred
• Proven experience in secretarial or administrative roles preferred
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks according to importance
