Librarian - Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing the library’s collection of books and other resources, as well as providing assistance to patrons with research and information needs.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They must be able to effectively interact with people from different backgrounds in a helpful, friendly manner. Additionally, they should have excellent organizational skills and be comfortable working with technology. Individuals who are proficient in English are preferred.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing and organizing library resources
• Assisting patrons with research or information needs
• Providing reference services to patrons
• Organizing library events such as book clubs or author readings
• Checking out books and other resources to patrons
• Providing support for library software programs such as cataloging or circulation systems
• Performing maintenance on library computers or other technology equipment
