Job Description:
The Accountant will manage the day-to-day financial operations of our organization including bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, budgeting & forecasting, tax preparation & filing, financial reporting & analysis, etc.. The ideal candidate should have excellent transactional accounting skills as well as understanding of core accounting principles and practices such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when dealing with financial records & documents for the company’s operations & customers/clients transactions/activities etc.. The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that all records & documents are accurately maintained in accordance with established policies & procedures as well as applicable laws & regulations such as VAT filing requirements etc.. Additionally the Accountant will also play an important role in providing guidance on overall financial planning activities related to budgeting/forecasting/planning etc..

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree is preferred but not required
• Proven experience working as an Accountant or similar role; No experience required for immigrants willing to relocate
• Knowledge of core accounting principles & practices such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Excellent numerical skills with accuracy & attention to detail when dealing with financial records/documents
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear manner
• Ability to work independently while also being able to collaborate effectively on team projects
