Librarian vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE

Librarian - Abu Dhabi, UAE (Indian Nationality Preferred)

We are looking for a qualified Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science and have previous experience working in an academic library. Indian nationality is preferred, though not required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our library’s collection of books, magazines, journals, and other materials. Duties include cataloging new additions to the collection and helping patrons locate materials they need. Additionally, the librarian will oversee library circulation services and supervise student workers. You should also be able to provide assistance with technology-related issues such as database searches and other digital resources.

Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) are essential for this role as you will need to interact with patrons on a daily basis. The librarian should also have a good understanding of computers and other technology used in libraries today.
