We are looking to fill the role of Secretary at our organization in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the staff and management team. The primary job responsibilities for a Secretary include: scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, drafting and sending correspondence, answering emails and phone calls, filing documents in an organized fashion, managing databases or records management systems, creating reports as required, coordinating travel arrangements for staff members, liaising with clients and other external stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to multitask effectively; quickly prioritize tasks; handle multiple projects at once; possess excellent communication skills; maintain a high level of confidentiality; work well under pressure; and have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in administration or related field; 1-2 years of experience working as an administrative assistant or secretary; excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); strong organizational skills; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; knowledge of word processing software (Microsoft Word) as well as spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel); proficiency in typing is essential. We are also ready to consider an immigrant who meets all the qualifications mentioned above.
