Nurse vacancy in Sharjah
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Nurse to join our team in Sharjah. The successful applicant will be offered a salary of 1200 per month and we are open to considering foreign applicants for the role.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing nursing care and medical services to patients. The Nurse will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. The Nurse will also act as a consultant for patients and their families regarding health promotion and disease prevention.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide quality nursing care to patients according to established standards of practice.
• Monitor patient condition by assessing physical and mental health, medication reactions, social needs, nutritional status, etc.
• Manage patient records by documenting all medical processes and treatments provided as well as any changes in condition.
• Develop individualized patient care plans based on assessment of needs.
• Administer medications orally or via IVs or injections according to prescribed orders.
• Examples of other duties may include providing pre-operative preparation/post-operative follow-up care; conducting physical examinations; providing wound care; administering oxygen therapy; taking vital signs; performing diagnostic tests; educating patients on health maintenance; providing pain management options; consulting with physicians regarding treatments or changes in condition; coordinating discharge planning with social services departments; and developing policies related to infection control or safety concerns.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college/university is required.
• Possession of valid professional license issued by the UAE/GCC Nursing Council is preferred but not required for newly qualified Nurses who have no prior experience working abroad. • Must have at least two years of experience working as a Nurse in an acute or general healthcare setting is preferred but not required for qualified applicants without direct experience working in the UAE/GCC region. Experience with various computer software programs (eHRs) is preferred but not required depending on the applicant's background knowledge of medical coding systems such as ICD-10 or CPT-4 codes). • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, physicians, administrators, patients, family members etc., are essential for this role . • Ability to remain calm under pressure while multitasking is important for this position . • Must be physically capable of standing/walking/bending throughout shift duration .
