Merchandiser – Haur-Fakkan, UAE (Indian Nationals Preferred)

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Haur-Fakkan, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels and ensuring that merchandise is ordered and delivered on time, in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
• Create and monitor inventory management systems to ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner.
• Monitor sales trends and recommend appropriate changes to ensure maximum profitability.
• Develop promotional campaigns to increase sales of merchandise.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding their products, prices, and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with other departments such as accounting, marketing, and customer service to ensure smooth operation of the merchandising process.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and ensure satisfaction with purchased products.
• Develop strategies to maximize profit margins while minimizing risks associated with stocking high volumes of merchandise.
• Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to determine the best product mixes for optimal profitability.
• Maintain records of all transactions related to merchandise orders and invoices.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry.
• Solid understanding of inventory management systems and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
