Librarian - Dubai, UAE (Preferred African and English-Speaking Candidates)

We are looking for a full-time Librarian in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a library environment and must be able to communicate fluently in English. Preference will be given to African and English-speaking candidates.

The successful candidate’s primary duties will include but not be limited to: organizing library materials, helping patrons locate books and other materials, participating in library programs and activities, providing reference services, cataloging resources, managing audiovisual collections, and maintaining electronic databases.

The successful applicant will possess excellent organizational skills and must have the ability to work independently. They should also have a strong commitment to customer service and knowledge of library practices. The ideal candidate must also hold their own valid visa for the UAE.
