About the Role
Implementing a new HCM or Financials business application is a significant project for any company. At Workday we realize that a comprehensive and effective testing program is as critical as configuring the application itself. Our Workday Test Lead will lead and assist our customers with this effort. We are looking for experienced Testing professionals to join the team.
The Workday Test Lead is a key member of engagement teams who advises and guides customers through not only the development of a testing strategy and plan but also conducting testing.
The Workday Test Lead ensures the Workday solutions meet desired business requirements and can be used effectively in their targeted business environments by
Provide guidance to the Customer Test Lead on the development of testing strategies and planning
Guide the customer to define business processes and map test scenarios to business processes in preparation for testing.
Work with the Customer Test Lead and the Customer Subject Matter Experts to ensure testing scenarios are created in accordance with project quality standards.
Guide the Customer Test Lead on the scheduling of testing activities including coordination of rooms equipment and testing resources.
Serve as the overall Testing Manager responsible for testing administration testing tools testing preparation status updates and overall incident reporting.
Work with the Customer Test Lead and the Customer Subject Matter Experts to ensure all test scenarios are executed and results documented in each cycle: unit testing end-to-end testing user acceptance testing parallel testing regression testing and performance testing.
Prepare final reports after each test phase is completed – unit testing end-to-end testing user acceptance testing parallel testing regression testing and performance testing.
About You
Motivated energetic & quick on your feet. You enjoy working with people and seeing them grow. You embrace big challenges. You're a talented Test Lead who enjoys working in a professional services environment leading projects through completion. It's likely you have a technical background consulting background or both. You know how to estimate the effort and resources it would take to complete a project and you are comfortable juggling multiple projects & initiatives at a time. You can also work under pressure meet deadlines hold others accountable tactically drive projects to completion.
Basic Qualifications
Languages: Business fluent English and French
3-5 years Project Experience in ERP delivery
2+ years of experience in creating Test Strategy and Test Plans
Other Qualifications
Strong experience building Test Scenarios or Use Cases based on proposed configuration.
Strong background in Workday deployment methodology and processes is preferred.
Good understanding of the latest trends in Test Automation is a plus
Experience or exposure of Workday deployment methodologies and processes will be beneficial
You know how to estimate the effort and resources it would take to complete a project and you are comfortable working on multiple projects & initiatives
Knowledge of testing and test methodologies for ERP technologies
Strong creative problem-solving skills analytical and reporting skills
Strong presenter with excellent verbal and written Communication skills
Ability and desire to learn technology quickly through a mix of different mediums
Resourceful and adaptable you’ll be comfortable working remotely utilising a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy
