About the Team
Responsible for selling the consulting or other professional services (e.g. delivery assurance re-configuration training services etc.) to deliver Workday Human Capital Management solutions. Present Workday Services conduct services discovery session create proposal and manage contracting process.
As a Workday Services Executive for our Professional Services organization you will be the key conduit between the dynamic Professional Services organization and the burgeoning Field Sales Operations organization. The Business Development Manager is responsible for strategy implementation and management of all Professional Services business development activities.
You'll use your extensive experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. You'll employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Workday On-Demand solutions as a viable alternative to legacy ERP solutions. And you'll help develop customers into key references for Workday. About the Role
Service Executives with our Professional Services organization are the key conduit between the dynamic Professional Services organization and the Field Sales organization. Youâll be responsible for strategy implementation and management of all Professional Services business development activities.
Using your extensive experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. You'll employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Workday solutions as a viable alternative to legacy ERP solutions.
What youâll do:
Understand the competitive landscape and prospect needs so you can effectively position the value of Workdayâs innovative deployment methodology and Professional Services
Work with Account Executive and Customer Success Managers to determine Services Strategy for customer base accounts
Present Workday Customer Services overview and conduct services discovery sessions
Create and validate Professional Services Proposals and high-level Project Plans
Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with Workday Service Partners
Assess project team training needs for prospects and customers
Maintain accurate and timely prospect pipeline and service forecast data
Manage negotiate and close Professional Services Agreements Statements of Work and other contractual documentation
Provide support for services activities and events
Respond to RFPâs/RFIâs/RFQâs
About You
Experience managing ERP implementation projects as well as delivering large-scale systems implementation projects
Experience in Professional Services sales preferably in ERP solutions (Financials a plus)
Proven ability in managing complex services sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful service revenue and profitability attainment preferred
Understand and can effectively explain the benefits of cloud architecture
Strong knowledge of vendors products and services in the ERP application space
Great presentation skills while participating in a fast-paced complex product and services sales cycle
Bachelorâs degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to travel 10% or more of the time
Fluent Japanese and business English language required
