Office Assistant (Indian Nationals)
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an Indian national, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills in English, and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract job with immediate start availability, and candidates must have their own valid visa for the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and emails
- Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations as needed
- Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
Requirements:
- Indian national with valid visa for the UAE (own visa)
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar administrative role
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
