Indian Merchandiser in Sharjah, UAE



We are seeking an experienced Indian Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product displays and promotions to increase sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop merchandising strategies that align with company goals
- Plan and execute product displays in retail stores to showcase new products or promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed decisions about product placement and pricing
- Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences
- Collaborate with designers to create eye-catching visual displays that attract customers
- Train retail staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly
- Report on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback regularly

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national residing in Sharjah, UAE (preference for those who can provide their own accommodation)
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the retail industry
- Proven track record of increasing sales through effective merchandising strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior
- Valid UAE driver's license preferred
