Logistics Coordinator (Contract) - Sharjah, UAE
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and at least 3 years of experience in logistics coordination. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or reduction based on demand
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements
- Prepare shipping documents, such as invoices, bills of lading, and export/import licenses
- Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers to negotiate rates and ensure efficient service
- Prepare reports on logistics activities for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or related role
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in English is required
- Preference will be given to African or Egyptian candidates
