We are currently seeking an Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This is a full-time position open to applicants of all nationalities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
- Maintain office supplies and equipment by monitoring inventory levels and placing orders when necessary
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for colleagues when required
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven work experience as an office assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
