Merchandiser - Indian Nationals (English Speaking)


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser for our company based in Sharjah, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor merchandising plans that align with company objectives
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to make informed decisions on product selection and placement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to ensure efficient execution of merchandising strategies
- Monitor inventory levels and make timely replenishment decisions
- Plan and execute promotional events to attract customers and drive sales
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement, pricing, and availability
- Build strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
- Keep track of competitor activities and make necessary adjustments to stay competitive in the market

Requirements:
- Indian national residing in Sharjah or willing to relocate
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry
- Proven track record of driving sales through effective merchandising strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
