Indian Executive Chef in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar
We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse menu that showcases traditional Indian cuisine while incorporating modern techniques and flavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create and maintain a high-quality menu that reflects the culture and traditions of Indian cuisine
- Oversee the kitchen team and ensure all dishes are prepared to perfection
- Train and develop kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food cost to ensure profitability
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with a strong understanding of traditional Indian cuisine
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and ability to create unique dishes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, food cost, and menu development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
