Office Assistant (English Speaking)
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries
- Prepare outgoing mail and shipments
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Keep track of office expenses and prepare expense reports
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and make travel arrangements for staff
- Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and payments
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a related field
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
