Merchandiser - Indian Nationals (Khawr Fakkan, UAE)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Khawr Fakkan, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and profits through effective product placement and display.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising plans based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales goals
- Collaborate with buyers to select products that align with the company's brand image
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of products
- Create eye-catching displays that attract customers' attention and drive sales
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or discontinuation of products
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and display compliance

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of market trends, customer preferences, and product positioning techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi is a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
