Librarian - Full Time (Indian Nationals Preferred)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Librarian. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the organization, preservation, and dissemination of information and resources within our library in Dubai, UAE. We welcome applications from Indian nationals who have a passion for books and a strong command of the English language.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing and maintaining library materials such as books, journals, and other resources
- Assisting patrons with finding and accessing information
- Cataloging new materials using the Dewey Decimal System or other classification systems
- Managing library memberships and keeping accurate records of borrowed items
- Collaborating with other librarians to develop and implement library programs and events
- Promoting library services to increase usage among students, faculty, and community members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress Classification
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist patrons from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with current technology used in libraries such as online databases, e-books, etc.
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
