Office Assistant - English Speaking (Pakistani/African)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with a preference for candidates from Pakistan or African countries. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Manage calendars and maintain an organized filing system
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as tracking expenses and preparing invoices
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Perform general office duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Keep the office clean and orderly at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have own visa or sponsorship available
