Cashier - Malayalee (Dubai, UAE)


We are looking for an experienced Cashier with a strong work ethic to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This position is specifically for Malayalee candidates who have a preference for jobs that do not require English proficiency.

As a Cashier, your main responsibility will be handling cash transactions at our retail store. You will be responsible for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently using our POS system
- Handle cash transactions including receiving payments, giving change, and issuing receipts
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and reconcile any discrepancies
- Ensure all items are properly priced and labeled
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have
- Keep checkout area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Must be a Malayalee with experience working as a Cashier (English proficiency is not required)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Previous experience using a POS system is preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Good communication skills in Hindi or Malayalam is preferred but not required
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
