Executive Chef (Indian/Egyptian) - Contract Position in Qatar
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar on a contract basis. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect the culinary preferences and cultural backgrounds of Indian/Egyptian cuisine
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality standards are met
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal specials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian/Egyptian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities
- Graduation from a culinary program or relevant degree preferred
- Must be able to work on a contract basis with possibility for extension
- Accommodation will be provided by the company
