Librarian (Indian/Malayalee)

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library's collection, providing assistance to library patrons, and promoting library resources and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, classifying, and shelving materials
- Assist patrons in locating materials and provide guidance on using library resources
- Promote library resources and services through outreach events and programs
- Maintain accurate records of circulation, inventory, and patron interactions
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop engaging programs and activities for all ages
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new technologies to enhance the library experience

Requirements:
- Indian or Malayalee nationality preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Fluency in English is required for communication with patrons and colleagues
- Prior experience working in a library setting is an asset but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work full-time hours including evenings and weekends
