Indian Executive Chef in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team at a hotel in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. This is a temporary position with accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus that meet quality standards and reflect the hotel's image
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and other team members
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with experience working as an Executive Chef in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Proven experience managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have experience creating menus that cater to different dietary restrictions or preferences
