Job Title: Wedding Planner

Our event planning company in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking a talented Wedding Planner to join our team. This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian or Malayalee candidates.

As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of wedding events from start to finish. This includes meeting with clients to understand their vision and budget, researching and recommending vendors, creating detailed event timelines and schedules, and overseeing the execution of the event on the day.

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Your creativity will also be put to the test as you work with clients to design unique and memorable weddings that reflect their personalities. Additionally, strong communication skills are necessary as you will be working closely with clients, vendors, and other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their wedding vision and budget
- Research and recommend suitable venues, caterers, florists, photographers, etc.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors on behalf of clients
- Create detailed event timelines and schedules
- Oversee the setup and decoration of venues on the day of the event
- Ensure all vendors are fulfilling their contracted duties
- Address any issues or concerns that may arise during the planning process or on the day of the event
- Keep track of expenses and adhere to budgets set by clients
- Provide regular updates to clients on progress and changes made

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in wedding planning or event management
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of cultural traditions and customs related to weddings in Qatar is a plus
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is an advantage
