Information Technology Manager vacancy in Umm-Salal Qatar

IT Manager
As the IT Manager for our company in Umm-Salal, Qatar, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our information technology systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time position that requires prior experience in a similar role and accommodation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the organization's current and future needs
- Oversee the maintenance and security of all hardware, software, networks, and systems
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the smooth operation of all IT functions
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption to improve efficiency and productivity
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection and business continuity
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize system functionality
- Create and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality or security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT management role
- Extensive knowledge of network administration, database management, cybersecurity protocols, hardware/software troubleshooting
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Qatar or other Middle Eastern countries
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Biometric passport for easy travel between countries
