Bilingual Office Assistant - English and Arabic (Egyptian)
Our company in Al Shamkhah City, UAE is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Office Assistant to join our team. As a bilingual office assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position is open to Egyptian nationals who are fluent in both English and Arabic.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual
- Greeting visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Coordinating travel arrangements for employees when necessary
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when needed
- Assisting with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls
- Translating documents from English to Arabic (and vice versa) as needed
- Updating and maintaining databases, records, and files accurately
- Providing general administrative support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an office assistant or similar role
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
This is a full-time position with working hours from Sunday to Thursday. Candidates must have their own valid visa for employment in the UAE.
